Composition & care

L'Insert is made in Alcantara®, a suede-feel microfibre woven in Italy and used by some of the world's leading manufacturers, from Porsche to Lanvin. Durable, soft, and washable. When it needs freshening up, machine-wash cold and lay upside-down to dry on a rack. Designed to last as long as the bags it calls home.

How a 7RP insert is made

Every 7RP insert is handcrafted to order in our atelier on the French Riviera, a small seaside town between Nice and Antibes. Built from scratch since 2016, our team of couture-trained artisans includes some of the last remaining craftspeople of their kind in France. We hold ourselves to a single standard: if it lives inside an Hermès bag, it must be worthy of one.

A year to perfect the fit, for every bag style.

L'Insert is individually designed for each bag style it will call home. When we launch L'Insert for a new bag style, it takes us on average a year to perfect the design and the size range, to guarantee the perfect fit that will respect the bag and truly enhance the experience. Our fit is part of what makes 7RP what it is, and we are proud of what we have accomplished in this department. Our design and fit are proprietary IP, and we will take legal action against copies.

No lasers. Hands and patterns only.

There are no lasers in our atelier. Each Alcantara panel required to assemble your insert is hand-cut from a pattern traced by hand over the material. The trained, precise hands of our craftspeople touch every piece you receive. Around two hours of handwork per insert.

Each 7RP insert is assembled by one craftsperson from start to end. Panels are sewn together using a process perfected over a decade to produce the highest possible quality. Around two hours of handwork per insert.

The original, since 2016

When we set-out to build 7RP in 2016, strong of our CEO's experience and lived needs, we studied the market. What existed then, like today, were bag organizers. Nothing designed for protection, nothing designed for elevation. We knew our product had a space to call its own.

Since 2016, we have served over 14,000 Hermès bag owners across more than 90 countries. A small team, a single product, a standard that has only become more rigorous since day one.

Our company was born to provide collectors with true protection for their handbags and an elevated experience when carrying them. Today, now that it has become real, we are proud to be entrusted with this mission.

Which color should I choose?

This is ultimately a personal choice. If this is your first 7RP purchase and your bag is dark, se generally recommend going for a light tone to enlighten the inside of your bag. For each of their bags, our customers tend to choose: one insert in a color that closely matches that of their bag, and another in a color that contrasts or complements it. There is no wrong answer! If you'd like guidance, email a photo of your bag to support@7rueparadis.com and we'll happily provide pairing suggestions.

Why can't my order ship sooner?

Every 7RP insert is made to order — crafted only when you place yours. There's no warehouse, no pre-made stock. Your insert is hand-cut and assembled by couture-trained artisans in our French Riviera atelier, specifically for you. This process takes up to four hours, and demand for L'Insert is generally high. The wait is the craft.

Why is L'Insert more expensive than other bag organizers?

L'Insert isn't a bag organizer; it's complete care for your bag's interior, designed by a 35-year Hermès collector and handcrafted over four hours in our French Riviera atelier by couture-trained artisans. The lengthy deign and development process, the millimetric custom fit, the Alcantara®, the couture construction, the fairly paid team — every element exists because your Hermès bag deserves protection that matches its own quality. At less than 10% of your bag's value, it's the smartest investment in your collection after the bags themselves.

Will the color of L'Insert transfer onto my bag's interior?

We chose to make L'Insert in Alcantara® because this material is color-fast and rigorously tested for color transfer. This was non-negotiable in our material selection.

Will L'Insert damage my bag in any way?

No. This is our first design principle: nothing about out inserts should ever compromise your bag. The Alcantara is color-fast and rigorously tested for color transfer and non-abrasive against every Hermès leather. The fit is engineered to respect your bag's natural construction and native pockets, never forcing or fighting its shape. Our founder has carried Hermès bags exclusively for 35 years; she would never put something inside one that could cause harm.
