10 years of 7RP

Marianne, who had spent three decades collecting and carrying Hermès bags, knew well that Hermès does not SPA bag interiors. She felt she needed to protect her bags herself, and had the idea for L'Insert.

Before influencers were called influencers and before content creators unboxed Birkins on camera, we believed in Mel and Mel believed in us. She was our first ever creator partner, the first voice beyond our own to tell the story of 7RP online and a beloved collaborator to this day, ten years later!

After one year in business, the results spoke for themselves: Hermès bag owners all over the world loved our product and wanted more. We moved into our first private atelier, a space we still work from today, and hired Marc, who is still with us and is now our Head of Production.

By the end of 2021, 7RP had grown so much that our existing space was no longer sufficient. Laureen, Nora and Olga joined the team and we created a second atelier, still in function today.

After years of insisting, Diane finally convinced Marianne to step in front of the camera and tell her story. As predicted, she was so warmly received by the internet that we never stopped creating content.

Unsurprisingly, it was not long until Marianne went viral. The world discovered her and, with her, the company she had created. 7RP grew incrementally.
