If this is your first 7RP insert and your bag is dark, we generally recommend a light tone to enlighten the inside. Many of our customers buy two: one in a tone that closely matches the bag's interior, and one that contrasts. There is no wrong answer. We chose Alcantara® specifically because it is color-fast and rigorously tested for color transfer. This was non-negotiable in our material selection.

Yes. L'Insert is machine-washable on a delicate cycle, cool water, mild detergent, no bleach. Air dry flat. The Alcantara® holds its shape and color through repeated washes.

That is one of the two approaches our collectors take. The other is to choose a contrasting tone — a soft pink against a black interior, a deep green against beige — that reveals itself only when you open the bag. Both are right.
